Law 4685/2020 has now come into force with key focus areas the fundamental reform of the energy licensing and regulatory regime (mainly renewables), the simplification of environmental licensing procedures and extensive amendments to the management regime for environmentally protected areas, waste management, forestry, spatial and town planning legislation.
