Konstantinos Kollias and Xenofon Papayiannis participated in the conference “Athens Law Forum on Taxation”
Our Financial Advisor Konstantinos Kollias and our Partner Xenofon Papayiannis, were key speakers in the conference “Athens Law Forum on Taxation”, which took place on the 21st of November 2014 at Hotel Titania, under the auspices of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Economic Chamber of Greece. The purpose of the conference is the creation of an annual forum focusing on the Greek tax system.
Konstantinos Kollias, in his capacity as President of the Economic Chamber of Greece, participated as main speaker in the 2nd panel of the conference which referred to “A simple and solid tax framework”. In his speech he referred to the absence of a solid and stable tax framework and stressed the need for consensus among the political system, an inter-party agreement – commitment for the stability of the tax framework.
Xenofon Papayiannis participated in the 4th panel of the conference which concerned “Tax Law dispute resolution and appeal to Justice”. The subjects addressed were the administrative procedure – administrative appeal, the judicial recourse and the interim relief.
