KLC Law Firm participated in the “5th South East Europe Energy Dialogue"

Mr. George Ftikas, Senior Associate of KLC Law Firm in Bulgaria and Romania participated as a Panelist, in the International Conference “5th South East Europe Energy Dialogue", organised by the Institute of Energy for South East Europe in Thessaloniki, on 2nd and 3rd of June 2011. In particular, Mr. Ftikas participated in the Panel Discussion of Day One, re “Power Sector Projects”, and provided a brief overview of the Bulgarian RES market, following the adoption of the new RES law in May 2011. The panel included Ms. Dana Duica, Executive Director of the Romanian Wind Energy Association, Prof. Mustafa Titis, Director of the Energy Institute of Marmara Research Centre in Turkey, and Mr. Gus Papamichalopoulos of KGDI Law Firm. Focusing, this year, on «Electricity and Gas Infrastructure Priorities in S.E. Europe – Towards a Regional Market», IENE’s «Energy Dialogue”, serves as a platform suitable for the exchange of information and ideas, networking and discussions on the shaping of the political action required in order to face the increased global and regional energy and environmental challenges.
