Harmonisation of standards and practices in the gas sector in Central Asia

Central Asia countries, Kazakhstan , Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, along with the European Union, plan signing a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the harmonisation of standards and practices in the field of gas delivery. The preparation, negotiations and signing of the project is being realised by Mott MacDonald Ltd with the legal firm KLC Law Firm and Eurasian Consulting SA within the limits of the program «Harmonisation of standards and practices in the gas sector in Central Asia”. Numerous articles of the local media refer to this project, i.e. RIA-Novosti, (Russia) 07.05.2009 (the most prominent news agency in Russia), « Kazakhstan Today » agency, etc.
