KLC Law Firm was awarded a project in Uganda funded by the World Bank for Provision of Consultancy Services for Review of the Road Traffic Legislation

Since  May 29th 2013, KLC Law Firm, -as part of an international consortium-, provides legal assistance to the Ministry of Works and Transport in Uganda within a project funded by World Bank. The project’s scope is to undertake a comprehensive review of national legislation in the field of traffic safety and to improve the regulation in the road traffic sector in which the country government aims to reduce the high number of road traffic accidents. KLC Law Firm’s main task is to analyse the current legislation on road safety and to make recommendations for legislative changes taking into account the commitments of Uganda to neighboring countries of East African Community.
