Τhis appointment aims to develop the firm’s potential in this area of practice. Admitted to the Athens Bar Association in 1982, Klearchos Kanellopoulos has worked in private practice for most of his career, as well as in-house for an international shipping corporation for seven years. His main areas of practice are commercial and shipping litigation, admiralty, ship arrests, pollution, marine insurance, charter-party disputes, cargo claims, S+P, ship mortgage etc. Over the years, Klearchos has acted in a number of high profile international cases, has been a speaker in several Lloyd’s List seminars, a contributor to various legal publications and is, currently, a member of the Academy of the Greek Shipping Hall of Fame.
