KLC is an expert in intellectual property law and our Intellectual Property Team works under the guidance of Professor Dr. Aristides P. Chiotellis, member of the Law-making Committee of the law on intellectual property currently in force.

KLC's recent experience in this sector includes:

providing legal support on intellectual property matters to the "Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games - Athens 2004" (ATHOC)
providing legal services to a leading Greek publishing house
providing legal support to a collective management society with regard to the collection of the required "equitable remuneration" for private reproduction, the relations with the entities bearing such obligation, as well as litigation on competition issues
representing a publishing company during the take-over thereof by a foreign publishing house
representing one of the largest record companies in Greece in litigation and contracts with composers, performers and lyricists
representing leading TV-broadcasting channels in Greece in litigation relating to intellectual property rights on television programmes
