Since its creation four years ago, the KLC Department of International Projects, was inaugurated as a distinct department within the integral structure of the law firm, in March 2009.

Unlike other European law firms, owing to the efforts of the International Projects Department and backed by the expertise of our specialist in-house lawyers, KLC Law Firm has already well-established itself among the leaders of the consultancy business.

The Department actively participates in institutional projects, funded by European Commission and International Financial Institutions. Having capitalized the experience of "Lamnidis and Associates law office", after the merge with KLC Law Firm in 2003, the International Projects Department of KLC mainly offers legal advice and project management services in the fields of energy, transport, capacity building, trade facilitation, legal approximation, and investment.

The geographic scope of the International Projects Dept. operations is truly remarkable; being based in Athens, the Department implements to a successful end complex projects, often encompassing a number of countries or a whole region, throughout South-Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.

Over the years, the Department has attained deep knowledge and understanding of complex institutional projects, requirements and implementation implications thereof. Long-lasting experience of working with international donor institutions, such as the European Commission, the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction & Development), the EIB (European Investment Bank), and the World Bank have resulted in an accumulated proficiency of structuring, staffing, and implementing multi-disciplinary assignments in multi-cultural environments.

Strong partnership with the world strongest industries and a closely associated network of individual professionals are the two cornerstones of our success in the multinational and, more importantly, multicultural market, where the Darwinian Theory - survival of the fittest - is felt at its most.
